The ErgoLounge Story

As a child, I saw my grandfather suffer from severe back pain, poor circulation and posture problems. Despite his problems, he had to work at a desk for hours every day. In the 80s and 90s, there were hardly any good ergonomic products that could have helped him. My grandfather suffered from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), the same disease as the famous physicist Stephen Hawking. Fortunately, his illness was less aggressive, but he was dependent on a wheelchair. These experiences frustrated me, moved me deeply and awakened in me the desire to make a change. That's why I founded ErgoLounge to support people with similar challenges.
